David Bloom Launches Jewellery Site in i-ntarsiaTM
19th. December 2003: Leading Brighton Jeweller, David Bloom, has launched the 'Jewels by David' web site to take their collection of high quality jewellery on-line. The key features that were required of the site were, ease of update and a very visual catalogue.
The site features a range of over 200 items that have been catalogued
and cross referenced in the i-ntarsia catalogue builder. The flexibility
of i-ntarsia means that we have been able to create a complex catlogue,
but in a very visual and intuitive style based upon a jewellers display
tray. The system is completed with a full i-ntarsia based e-commerce
system integrated with commerce provider Protx.
David Bloom are now working with I-Next on a search engine strategy to build a solid income stream for the site. This is being undertaken with the performance and monitoring tools within i-ntarsia, and with pay-per-click advertising from Overture.
